During our recent stay in Scilla, we encountered a minor setback upon arrival at Hotel Scilla, as our economy room had a leakage issue in the shower, resulting in a flooded toilet. Promptly addressing the matter, the reception swiftly upgraded us to a higher-tier room at the wonderful Sovana Hotel & Resort nearby, exhibiting great customer service.Our new accommodation exuded comfort and cleanliness, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met. The hotel's garden area was a serene retreat, offering a peaceful escape in the heart of beautiful Sovana. With the convenience of free parking, we explored the town effortlessly. While the restaurant predominantly focused on grilled meats, vegetarians may find the menu somewhat limited. However, the staff were accommodating, striving to meet special requests.The Sovana Hotel & Resort's proximity to local attractions and its gracious service provide a fantastic value proposition for travelers seeking a simple yet pleasant stay. Despite the initial hiccup, the swift resolution and overall experience make this a desirable option when visiting Scilla.
